Job summary
Announcer will call play by play for their local high school girls and boys varsity sports teams to be broadcast live over the World Wide Web at www.rivalblitz.com. Announcer will need to supply either their own laptop computer with Internet data card or a cell phone with a headset in order to connect to our server to broadcast the game. Announcer will call only their team’s home games and will only travel if their team reaches the state playoffs. (Travel expenses will be covered for playoff games.)
Summary of essential job functions
· Arrive at high school gym in time to set up and connect to the RivalBlitz server.
· Game broadcast must begin 15 minutes before game start.
· Announce entire game.
· Play commercials during time outs if using a laptop.
Minimum requirements
No experience necessary. Must be 16 or older and have a good knowledge of how the game is played and what the rules are to explain penalties to your audience.
Abilities required
Ability to accurately describe what is happening on the floor or field. Must be able to speak clear English at a fast pace.

RivalBlitz is a unique company that serves the community with live sports webcast coverage of our small local high schools. We are searching for play by play announcers to call home league games at the following schools.
